World's Strongest Typhoon Yolanda Wreaks Havoc in Tacloban - Abs-Cbn (VIDEO)

Abs-Cbn's Umagang Kay Ganda has reported that Typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) has hit land at approximately 4:40 AM on Friday, November 8 2013 in Eastern Samar, and is now starting to make its strong presence felt in Tacloban City, Leyte. Barely a few hours after landfall, Yolanda has already caused massive flood, which still continues to rise quickly.


Yolanda, predicted to be the world's strongest typhoon this year, is an enormous storm with 600 km in diameter with maximum sustained winds of 314 kilometers per hour (kph) or 195 mph, and gusts up to 379 kph or 235 mph. .
